The current Federal and State energy initiatives mandated upon the citizens of Maryland are the most dangerous in history. All 6,000,000 citizens, seniors, small business owners, families, farmers, school systems, hospitals, working people will be hit by higher utility rates. Food prices and the cost of living, even the survival of the economy will be struck by these new utility soaring prices.

The crushing impact on our way of life will be overwhelming. This energy policy based on global warming and the reckless shutting down of functioning fossil fuel plants will cause a revolutionary change for ordinary people. Moreover, the growing forces intruding  into our life like AI, electric vehicles, data centers and other energy assets will place an enormous burden on the need for new electricity.

The forces promoting this agenda are committed to their own benefits. They want to move quickly. The victims are the people and their personal family budgets. The United Factor strengthening  the opposition is the fact that everybody is a victim. There are no Democrats or Republicans, black or white, men or women, everybody is a victim and everybody gets hit hard.

The big investors financing the power companies and the Tech Titans who need AI are pushing hard to promote changes that cost ratepayers major increases. This is a front-page news story! The financial disaster headed for the people is being sidelined by the media.

Governor Moore and the lawmakers in the General Assembly in Annapolis are leading the fight on behalf of the special interests and the power companies. They are passing legislation and policies  like the STRIDE LAW and THE INFRASTRUCTURE ACT. The Governor passed the “Maryland Climate Solutions Act” which will lead to massive increases in residential rates beginning in 2025. This has been confirmed by David Lapp the People’s Council for the State of Maryland. Elected officials have influence over the Public Service Commission, the Maryland Energy Division and other powerful State Agencies.

The rate crisis it’s getting so serious Governor Wes Moore must declare a “state of emergency” on behalf of the people to save them from rate payer bankruptcy and schedule a special session of the Maryland General Assembly. These actions are needed to protect the people against the onslaught of financial problems coming their way.

The people must focus on the Governor as the central figure who needs to join our cause through the persuasion of education and influence. The Governor has the real power to promote policies that protect people’s rights. He is doing the opposite! Governor Moore is supporting the creation of ENERGY DATA CENTERS. The data centers are monsters that support AI and will use half the electricity in Maryland which should be provided to the people. In the next five years Data Centers will have a significant unstoppable impact on the economy of the State. Maryland’s Governor and legislators throw their weight behind the power companies like Constellation Energy. Constellation Energy shares jumped 10% and the company experienced a profit of 14% last year. The people need the Governor and legislators on our side.

Forced loss of gas fired generation plants is a major problem for the Citizens of Maryland. On the PJM which handles all of the generation power on the grid, gas fired plants accounted for 48% of the capacity followed by nuclear power at 21%, coal at 18%, hydroelectric at 4%, solar and wind at 1%. This is the balance needed to provide Maryland with effected predictable energy and supply our homes at reasonable rates. We are losing this reliable arrangement. Natural gas prices are falling, the price of a few years ago was four times as high. America’s natural gas supplies are limitless a bottomless well. US air is cleaner more than ever in past 100 years.

The citizens must become united, stand together and fight back. The people are 6,000,000 strong in Maryland and 300 million plus across the nation. People need to pursue truth, knowledge and transparency in order to maintain our freedom and rights on this major issue.

When people know the truth, they will do what is needed. The people must pursue every opportunity to stand up to these powerful forces.

The organization must vigorously pursue a creative legal defense plan. A strong multipurpose people’s campaign is needed to stop the current energy disaster plan. The campaign should reach out to public officials and other key people in our society to convince them of the danger of this current energy agenda. The media must be brought to task and begin to pay attention to the impact on the people of these current policies.

The campaign shall create a reform agenda to replace the current dangerous agenda. An agenda protecting our rights and survival economically is needed. At the same time, we recognize a clean climate policy is important to the future. The implementation of Green Programs must recognize the rights of the people. Litigation will be initiated related to property rights, civil rights, privacy rights, eminent domain, and other protections needed by the people.

 Clean energy technology faces challenges. BP and Shell took a $540 million loss on their New York offshore windmill farm. America has $50 trillion worth of oil, gas and minerals in the western states. The federal government could access $1 trillion in revenue from the leases on this potential gold mine.

Military leaders maintained The New Green Deal is giving the United States a bad deal. The level of national security protection is weakened because of the inconsistency of solar and wind technology. 24% of the households in America could not pay their utility bills last year and that number is growing.

 San Francisco trial lawyers promoting Green Technology filed a case in Anne Arundel County in Maryland suing energy companies Shell and BP. The lawyers claimed these companies were destroying the environment. This type of litigation from other states does not fare well for the citizens of our State. Utilities rates increased last year for the third straight year in Maryland.

The organization needs a legal team, research team, and campaign team that includes a media platform, public official’s relations and fundraising. A massive victim is the economy of Maryland. Billions of dollars of taxpayers’ income will be transferred into the cost of the new rate paying for energy use and pulled out of State Consumer Spending. Economic development and loss of jobs will be the result and victims of this Hyper- Energy Policy.

The recent assault on Maryland’s beautiful Counties by an out of State energy company striking 120 farms, private property, preserved land and threatening eminent domain is an example of the results of the treatment of the people by the Hyper-Energy Masters.

Moreover, the Governor and other politicians’ pursuit of costly energy policies like data center construction, gold plated infrastructure construction and anti-ratepayer legislation are hitting the people hard without an active formal organized opposition. The people must be the opposition. It is now time to begin the movement before it is too late!
